Hi, I’m Dave
In 2002, at the age of 17, I began my journey with Gloucester Locksmiths, initially located on Barton Street, Gloucester, before moving to their current address in Quedgeley. Over the years, I progressed from a trainee to a senior locksmith, gaining invaluable knowledge and expertise. This experience enables me to handle everything from simple cylinder changes to comprehensive lock upgrade packages for commercial and public buildings.
With over 23 years of service, I have had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects, including MP’s homes and offices, care homes, nuclear power stations, telecom data centres, National Grid wind farms, and many more across the UK.
Now, I have decided to take my own path and offer you a personalised service, utilising everything I have learned over the years. Whether you need locksmith services for domestic, commercial, industrial, or public sectors, I am here to provide you with the highest level of expertise and dedication.
In 2025 I prepared myself for, and passed, the UK’s most coveted ABBE accredited locksmith exams. I am proud to call myself a Qualified Master Locksmiths (QML) and member of the Master Locksmiths Association (MLA).

I am located centrally between Gloucester, Ross on Wye and the Forest of Dean and am ideally situated to provide locksmith services to the Gloucestershire, Cotswold’s, Herefordshire and the Forest of Dean areas and beyond.

From the minute I rang him to finishing the job. He was very honest with costings and gave me a realistic valuation over the phone of what my cost maybe. Rang David about getting my front door lock repaired, as we had been forced to remove them as the door had stopped opening properly. David knew exactly what was wrong.
